It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of the cold and at this point in the season I begin to grow impatient waiting for New England to thaw. There is no doubt that I am ready to trade in my sweaters for tank tops and sundresses, but until then you’ll find me wearing this lace sweater on repeat. Well, at least until we land and Chris and I trade the cold for a beach side resort in the Bahamas!

Over the past couple weeks I have been leaning towards being comfortable (and cozy!). There is rarely a time that I don’t reach for a dress, but lately I can’t help but search for a cable knit sweater and a relaxed pair of pants. In an effort to still dress up, I’ve found a few sweaters that add extra detailing to your daily casual outfit!  

The Anthropologie Suzanne Pointelle Lace Sweater takes the traditional cable knit sweater and adds both femininity and grace, which is why it has become one of the most reached for items in my closet this winter. The ability to easily pair it with a number of different bottoms has made it a quick outfit decision, which is nice since I’m usually starring aimlessly into my closet unsure of what to wear. The lace adds additional texture dressing up what I feel like is a casual look!
