New England summers are gorgeous! In years past, our weekends would have been full of activities with friends and family, but due to the pandemic we’ve been staying at home even though the numbers continue to decline in Connecticut and Rhode Island. In an effort to soak up every ounce of summer sun we have been making the most of our time at home by having date nights in our backyard! Our home sits on a beautifully manicured acre and a half making it easy to have impromptu picnics on the lawn, or brunch on the patio. The blueberry bushes are now ready for harvest and we have been spending a night or two each week to go blueberry picking! We’ve definitely been getting creative and I would love to hear any idea you all may have for date nights at home this summer. A few of our favorites have been:
