Our plans this weekend are so exciting as we cannot wait to celebrate the love of some of our dearest friends as they say “I Do”. Everything from the location to the beautiful succulents that will be the focal point of the table are going to be stunning and not only do I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to share in this special day, I am so grateful that the bride has let me help with a few details for her special day. After months of attention to detail, there is nothing more magical than seeing the final product and I couldn’t be more excited for her!

As the first of my friends to get married, I haven’t been to a wedding in some time, not to mention, I have never attended a wedding during the cooler months so I have been on the lookout for the perfect dress to attend for months now! Unbelievably excited about wearing darker colors, I found the perfect Shoshanna (Capay Eyelet Lacy Lucy Dress) dress that is a beautiful black eyelet. The fabric is both thick for warmth and intricately designed with the eyelet overlay, for reference I am wearing a size 4. As someone who frequently reads reviews to ensure that the length is accurate, I found that Shoshanna dresses run a little short making it possible to order a regular rather than a petite. The fit is perfect in the waistline and to compliment the eyelet and add additional texture I added a suede pump.

Here are a few other variations of this dress that are different price points but are equally as stunning for a fall or winter wedding / cocktail party.
