Spring has sprung in Johnston, RI and Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is now officially open! Chris and I visited for the first time last year and we decided as soon as we pulled up to the five acres of picturesque land covered in freshly blooming tulips that this would be an annual visit. Fresh flowers always brighten up our home, especially those that you have the opportunity to hand pick. We hope to visit this weekend, but I wanted to make sure you all knew tickets were now available! Below you will also find a few tips that we wish we had known before we went!
Wicked Tulips Flower Farm Tips:
Purchasing Tickets: Tickets sell out incredibly fast, but must be purchased in advance if you plan to visit on a weekend when the crowds are much larger. To ensure that you receive the first updates on ticket availability make sure to sign up for their newsletter, you can do so here.
Picnics: There are the cutest picnic tables on the side of the tulip beds that make for the perfect spot to have a glass of homemade lemonade and a scrumptious salad or sandwich.
Transporting Tulips: Day travelers make sure to bring a small vase of water or a few damp paper towels to transport your tulips home.
